History of the Flame: the Arizona Flame used to be the Phoenix Flame in 2007 (as seen in the photo above and the stats and stories below). In 2008, the team took a year off to find thier stride find the right venue, etc. Owner Steven Moss-Kelley - "The league has gotten very strong and we need to take a year to rebuild to the level of the rest of the IBL." In 2008, the Arizona Flame played 2 official IBL games in Los Angeles (see 'game results', game # 181 and game # 185). In 2009, the Arizona Flame will play in the IBL, either as an away team to buy themselves one more year (playing 18 away games) or as a regular/normal team. Season Notes from 2007

Phoenix Flame (9-10)— The Flame finished their inaugural IBL season just under the 50 percent win mark. Owner Stephen Moss-Kelley has been a steady contributor on the court for the Flame this season, averaging over 12 points per contest. New recruit Devin Greene had a promising debut, averaging 27.5 points per game in his first two games for Phoenix. Flame top scorers: Devin Greene 27.5 points per game (2 games played), Jamal Livingston 22.4 points per game (10), Larry Morinia 16.7 (14), James Singleton 16.5 (14), Del Summers 15.1 (15),
