2008 Portland Chinooks season review (final record 14-15) – For Chinooks player statistics, scroll to the bottom of this page. Portland has been one of the most feared teams all year, everyone wanted to avoid them in the first round but the Edmonton Chill drew them and beat them to end Portland's dream of returning to the finals from the 5th seed spot. It was another solid year for IBL leading scorer and now 2008 IBL All Star David Lucas as he put up 37.0 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Kenny Tate was a leader for Portland from beginning to end; Tate played in all 29 games, played three different positions and averaged 18.6 points per game, 8.4 rebounds per game and 5.2 assists to earn a 2008 IBL All Star selection.
