2008 Explosion News & Notes

2008 Snohomish County Explosion (8-6) - The Explosion have run hot and cold in the first half of the 2008 season, currently sitting at 8-6 after 14 games. The Explosion defeated the visiting Shanxi Kylins over the weekend, and will look to keep the positive momentum going against the Central Oregon Hotshots at the Monroe Sports Arena on Saturday, May 10. Snohomish County has bolstered their frontcourt with the addition of 2006 IBL All-Star Aleksey Adediran. Adediran is averaging 22.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two games with the Explosion. Snohomish County will be even more formidable with the return of Rashaad Powell (28.9 points per game last season), and Justin Murray later this season. Both players were IBL All-Stars in 2007 and are finishing up their seasons overseas.
