What people did not know about Windy City in 2007 (called Chicago Heights in 2007- a team that finished 0-18), they certainly learned first hand in 2008; in 2007, the Soldiers had lost most of thier 2007 games in heartbreaking, last minute fashion and with 16 of their games on the road. They were a much better team in 2007 than thier record. The Soldiers of 2007 even went in to Elkhart- in the playoffs and took the eventual champs into overtime. In 2008, the ball bounced the Soldiers way 11 times, a big improvement from the 0 wins a year earlier. Rookie Erik Rhinehart had a breakout season for Windy City. The 6'9" Rhinehart finished tenth in the league in scoring at 23.5 points per game. Rhinehart has a game similar to Larry Bird as he is complete, tall and can shoot.
