The Yamhill HighFlyers will be participating in their first full IBL season after a nine game branding schedule in 2009. General Manager Eric Bailey has put together an impressive roster of division one caliber talent. Returning from 2009 are prolific scorers Jason Hartford and Chris Hunt. Both averaged over 20 points per game last year for Yamhill; they will be joined by newcomer Nate Bowie who was a big scorer for the BC Titans in 2009 and is now, also coming off a successful season in Spain. Veterans Tae Jackson and Damian Browne will be players to watch this season for the HighFlyers; Browne, a beast inside, averaged 14 points and 14.6 rebounds last year in the IBL. Bailey is very happy with his roster, saying, “We are very pleased with the roster we have put together and expect to compete right from the start. This is a solid professional-level team, with Division 1 level talent from top to bottom. This season should be very exciting for our fans." The HighFlyers will play 7 of their 10 home games at McMinnville High School (3 more home game locations will be announced). The Highflyers begin their season May 1st at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon against the USA All-Stars with their home debut coming on Monday May 10th against the Central Oregon Hotshots.
